Cabin Fever Challenge
Tired of winter? Looking for an early spring ride (MARCH 31, 2007)? Then join like-minded riders for a day of bicycling in beautiful Pottawatomie County, Kansas.  Proceeds from the ride go to the Pottawatomie County Outdoor Recreation Council to help fund the WAMSAGMAN Recreation/Bicycle trail that will begin in Wamego and connect with Saint George, and Manhattan’s Linear Trail.




Cider Mill Super Century
The is JCBC's early AUGUST replacement for the Baldwin City Blast:  The Louisburg Cider Mill has graciously opened its doors as a start/finish to accommodate JCBC’s newest and largest ride of the year, so bring your legs and sweet tooth!

Cottonwood 200
The Cottonwood 200 is a three-day bicycle tour on paved roads through the Flint Hills of northeast Kansas at one of the prettiest times of the year (MAY 24-26, 2008). The ride covers 200 miles (75 miles day one; 50 miles day two; 75 miles day three) over the Memorial Day Weekend. If you're looking for a post-winter wake-up call for your legs, and a scenic treat for your eyes, the Cottonwood 200 is a great way to find both.




Firecracker 100
The Firecracker 100 is annually scheduled for JULY 7, 2008, and sponsored by the Ottawa Jaycees as a fund-raiser to support the Kansas Jaycees Cerebal Palsey Ranch.  The Ranch provides a program that will allow mentally and/or physically challenged children and adults to enjoy their highest level of functioning and independence, consistent with their abilities, in a summer camp setting.  See the Ottawa Jaycees website for additional program or Firecracker 100 ride details.




Flint Hills Death Ride
This event is not for the weak at heart. Over 5,000 vertical feet of climbing...off-road... in the JULY 28-29, 2007 heat... through cow pastures, along fire roads, and over other drive-train, tire and rider-eating ground. Only the most insane, grueling, determined, excited, and motivated cyclists in the country need apply.

Sunflowers to Roses
Sunflowers to Roses raises money for cancer research and survivorship locally and nationally, and is held in conjunction with the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The event is held at the Kansas City Zoo. Events during the annual ride weekend include: Gala Event, Cyclocross Race, 5K run, Fun Run, Kids events, 100 KM Bike Tour, and other Outdoor Music and Fun.
