Two Terrific Gravel Routes in the beautiful rolling hills of rural Douglas, Shawnee and Osage counties:

Big Bird - 100K, 3400 ft of climbing, 84% Un-Paved

Bantam - 50K, 1700 ft of climbing, 74% Un-Paved

There will be coffee, hot cider and donuts at the start, SAG support as you ride, and a place to hose off your bike at the finish.

Start your October CycleFest weekend with a gravel grind on steep rolling hills as you cross the drainages of Clinton and Lone Star lakes. This is a supported ride (food, SAGs, and even porta-pots). Lots of Type 2 fun!

Before you register, join LBC - $20 for an individual / $25 for a family membership.
After joining you will receive a discount code for $10 to apply at registration checkout. Members are eligible for discounts at the three annual LBC events. Ride two events and your discount will pay for an individual membership!

ROUTES

Distances: 50 and 100K, mostly gravel.

Routes will be marked. Maps and cue sheets will be available in paper and electronic form. Chicken Creek starts and finishes at the Lone Star Lake Community Building.
